Chapter 2, Verse 47
कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन ।
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि ॥
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि ॥
Karmanye vadhikaraste ma phaleshu kadachana,
Ma karma-phala-hetur bhur ma te sango ’stv akarmani.
You have the right to perform your duty, but not to the fruits of your actions. Do not let the results be your motive, and never be attached to inaction.
